Happy Friday! Last week IKEA opened up a pop-up shop in downtown Toronto that is all about food, breaking away with conventions and showing Torontonians new ways to look at the food we prepare and consume. Of course I had to check it out for myself. The space was filled with lots of great inspiration for setting up and styling your home, including inventive ways to set your dining table, as well as offering tips for prepping food, growing your own herbs, and more.
Naturally there are tons of instagram-worthy shots in the space (a select handful are shown below). Select food items and accessories are also available for purchase – while I found the food items somewhat limited, I managed to pick up a few staples (lingonberry jam and chocolate included) and overall enjoyed the experience, and walked away with some newfound inspiration for enjoying my home and the whole food experience.
The IKEA pop-up is open until May 26th, which gives you just under a week to #StartFooding if you haven’t yet had a chance to stop by.
Have a great weekend!
