3 Simple Christmas DIYs

I can’t believe Christmas is already three days away! The month of December has been flying by. I don’t know about you, but I’ve barely put the finishing touches on my holiday decor and, much like my mother, I often find myself making little tweaks right up to the big day. If you’re looking for some last minute decor ideas, I’ve compiled three quick and easy DIYs to add a little extra flair to your home this holiday season. Try one or all three if you’d like, and your house should be all decked out in no time!

DIY Mason Jar Snow Globes

Looking to incorporate a vintage vibe in your space for Christmas? Why not try making your own snow globes!? You simply need some mason jars, bottlebrush trees, fake snow, and a hot glue gun (don’t worry: this is a pretty foolproof DIY). Chances are you have some old mason jars lying around the house already; Otherwise you can easily find these (along with the trees and fake snow) on the cheap at your local hardware store, or a craft supply store. I first made these snow globes four years ago (and I’ve gifted a few of them too!) and I love taking them out of storage every holiday season. They’re chic, simple and fun, and lend a nostalgic vibe to a space.

DIY Christmas Wreath

Why not try your hand at creating your own Christmas wreath this year? I love these, made with fresh eucalyptus – they add a really nice touch in front of a window. Boxwood could work pretty nicely as well.

DIY Nature Ornament

These beautiful ornaments are a cinch to put together, thanks to none other than Martha Stewart. Take a clear glass ornament, and fill it with a sprig of fresh, wintry greenery for a festive and au naturel look. Sprinkle them all over your Christmas tree, or in some tall branches for a truly Scandi feel.

You can find the tutorial HERE.
